The nightmare of Geert Wilders
One of my daily cartoons for the Dutch news website Nu.nl, regarding the growing islamphobia in the Netherlands, specifically the xenophobia of the Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders.
i'm a girl from iran maybe you think all of us are fundamentalist ! but we have nightmares as same as you.. we have two nightmares.. nightmare of fundamentalist people in our country .. that are minority but have all of power
and nightmare of war... it's a frightening dream .. in our life..
and we always try to show white flag to other people in the world.. but we haven't media.. we havent louder voice than our goverment..
Thank you for your comment Goli. I guess you misunderstood the meaning of my cartoon, which is understandable, because you probably don't know the person this is about.
The cartoon is a satire regarding a Dutch politician who suffers from xenophobia (fear of foreigners). So the cartoon is not a statement against you, your country or your people, and I certainly do not believe all Iranians are fundamentalists.
Mooi ontwerp Metin, doet me door de zachte verlopen en die halfdoorzichtige koepel een beetje aan Segrell denken.
