The nightmare of Geert Wilders

One of my daily cartoons for the Dutch news website Nu.nl, regarding the growing islamphobia in the Netherlands, specifically the xenophobia of the Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders.

  1. Mooi ontwerp Metin, doet me door de zachte verlopen en die halfdoorzichtige koepel een beetje aan Segrell denken.

  3. Thank you for your comment Goli. I guess you misunderstood the meaning of my cartoon, which is understandable, because you probably don't know the person this is about.

The cartoon is a satire regarding a Dutch politician who suffers from xenophobia (fear of foreigners). So the cartoon is not a statement against you, your country or your people, and I certainly do not believe all Iranians are fundamentalists.
