Branded Man
Drawing for a new magazine about 'Crime & Safety' , illustrating a story by radio-man Martijn 'Stomping' Stoffer about Merle Haggard's song lamenting the impossibility to shake off a past in the pen. (The penitentiary that is.)
Great drawing! I tried to mimic your style a lot of moons ago, but lack of talent kept me from trying to pursue a career as comic artist. I ended up a philospher, a electrical engineer and a dad.
I got here by following a link on Frits's site. As his webmaster I read his writings almost daily..
Cool! Great grim atmosphere, I love it.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the 'pen' theme: I'm in the middle of a Johnny Cash period. I love his brilliantly simple and simply brilliant songs.
