The article says that a quarter of the working population in Holland has a personal coach. And 40% of the managers. And I take it everybody is behaving accordingly. The invasion of the body snatchers. Oh, the days where we divided the world in socio's and arti's. We have lost the battle. (See the ilustration in the layout)

JJ Voskuil

His eyebrows are a tad too dark to my linking. The sketches were better. But I could hardly see the monitor in front of me while I was doing the colouring. I was suffering from a terrible cold, it's not much better even now.

Connie Palmen

This Connie is in today's NRC, you can see the page on my personal blog. AFTh is on another page, but it would be a bit much for Clogwork to show him too. I had hoped Connie Palmen would be printed a little bigger, but her drawing turns out to be for the "reading club" column, which always just has a small illustration. They never tell me these things. Maybe I have a sketch that would work better at stamp size, if I do, I'll send it to my editor, to print it with next week's column. She'll be reprinted three more times I think.

Désanne van Brederode

I almost feel guilty, here on Clogwork between all these cartoonists. I have to confess I have a secret desire to one day do a comic strip too. I know exactly how I would want it to look, but boy, it would be much work. Désanne van Brederode (visit my personal blog to see her in today's newspaper) could be one of the characters. And the author I drew yesterday could be in it too. Now all I need is a story. Looking at the two of them, that would be the easy part.

I complained about the lack of girl contributors here, and now I am the excuse girl! (thank you, Metin) The girl in the image is Vrouwkje Tuinman, she was in last Friday's NRC, only accidently in black & white, that was a pity.
