We Wish You...

This is the french version, but my warm wishes are global.

Rain Song

In the first version the little foxy lady had a bright red foxtail, which gave my (mainly male) colleagues on my favorite forum lots of disgusting associations.
But in Illustrator such details are so easy to change, so this is the third and final version.
Oh yes, the text is rough text, which will be embellished by the editor of "Graphic Classics".

Scotch

Sellotape is called "Scotch" here in France. This is another experiment to do Duck covers without the heavily inked outlines.

Fold-A-Plane!

This is the boys' version.
On the other side of the page was printed a similar plane for girls, but it flew out of my computer. I can't find it anymore.

Holiday At Home!

I have been too busy digging my swimming pool to join this to the "ironing board" series. But better late than never: a minimalist swimming pool.

Wet Birthday

Before the mp3 music format ruled supreme, I burned regular music CDs with stickers and sleeves and all to play my favorite internet finds.
For this one I took an image from a "Zoep" comic page I did for Malmberg.

Zooming In

A nice detail from my most recent "Mynga & Ramzy" episode. The surface of "Hello You!" magazine being what it is, my pages are printed in a rather reduced format.
On my screen I see them more like this while I work.

Prince Mo

Illustration on the back cover of a book with short stories by Mark Twain in the series "Graphic Classics". I let Mo from my comic "Kos & Mo" play the hapless prince.

Dracula

A page in a "Graphic Classics" edition of lesser known stories by Bram Stoker, of Dracula fame. Tom Pomplun, the editor, gave me carte blanche, so I really enjoyed myself.

Mynga and Ramzy go Gothic

Hi, this is Evert Geradts.
I used to draw with pens or brushes until I touched my first computer.
For years now it's my Mac, Illustrator and a mouse. (Any mouse).
At the moment I do "Mynga & Ramzy" for Dutch publishing house Malmberg.
This is the first of a two page Gothic episode, to be published in the "Hello You!" magazine.
